The Magical World of Warcraft

Welcome to the world of fantasy and never-ending adventure known as the World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft, or rather WoW, as the game is commonly called, has brought a clear distinction in the gaming world. There are now those who WoW, and well, those who don't. WoW, which was introduced by Blizzard Entertainment has created no less than a breakthrough in the world of multiplayer online role playing games.

WoW shares many of its features with previously launched games. Essentially, you battle with monsters and traverse the countryside, by yourself or as a team, find challenging tasks, and go on to higher levels as you gain skill and experience. In the course of your journey, you will be gaining new powers that are increased as your skill rating goes up. All the same, in terms of its features and quality, WoW is far ahead of all other games of the genre the game undoubtedly is in a league of its own and playing it is another experience altogether.

Even though WoW is a rather complicated game, the controls and interface are done in such a way that you don't feel the complexity. A good feature of the game is that it does not put off people with lengthy manuals. The instructions cannot be simpler and the pop up tips can help you start playing the game immediately. If on the other hand, you need a detailed manual, the instructions are there for you to access.

WoW'ers get to choose a particular character as their alter-ego from a large range of options. The choices are so many in number that you might have trouble in the selection process. The setting featured for the game is called Azeroth, which is actually the result of a combination of miscellaneous settings. The game rewards good players with money, power etc.

A characteristic of WoW is that you cannot play the whole game by yourself, you have to play with other people and work as a team. An example of this is when you go to "Dungeons", which requires between two and five players. At the most difficult stage, you need to cross dungeons and attack guilds. This can be a daunting task and would take many hours and more than a few attempts.

A persistent criticism against WoW is that it the final stages are too difficult for the average gamer. Blizzard reportedly cut down on the "quests" required for reaching the end of the game; But since those levels are so complex, it is difficult to actually verify the changes. Other attractive features of WoW are that it never lags and uploads fairly quickly.

You cannot easily cruise through this game. If you are bored of the typical games, you can stop your search here. Get ready for the ultimate gaming experience.
